Desert Earth and Wood was contracted to design and build a studio apartment to replace an existing carport and shed. At the owner’s request, we incorporated part of the existing shed to become a storage and utility room for the new studio. Special considerations were required to accommodate the electrical needs of owner’s studio, including careful elevation design to best utilize the space for equipment placements.
