Desert Earth and Wood worked to design this custom home with the maximum energy efficiency allowable within the project budget. Colored concrete floors with radiant heat are a feature that makes the home comfortable throughout the year. The walls were constructed with ICF material.
DEW designed this curb-less open shower as part of the master bath for this design build home project. No shower door or curtain is necessary in this European style. The bench was custom fit to the owner’s requirements.
A compact kitchen design was the central theme in creating the layout in the floor plan. The owner requested granite “tile” countertops. Notice the glass block highlights to bring additional desert light.
